š Every hospital has different requirements that they ask of their nurses to maintain working there. The most basic is actively renewing your RN license and BLS every 2 years. ā
ā
š¤ Depending on what unit you work on, you may also have other certifications to renew as well (NRP, ACLS, PALS, etc).ā
ā
š¤ But did you know that you can further advance in your position as a nurse? As a new grad, you are typically hired into a RN 1 position. The longer you work on your unit, you can move up the clinical ladder from an RN 1 up to an RN 4! ā
