🩺 New Grad RN Job Hunting 💻⠀⠀

⌨️ During my job hunt as a new grad, what I focused on was looking for and applying to clinical nurse 1 positions or a new grad RN program. You can try applying to ones that ask for experience, but honestly you are wasting your time and your application will get booted out immediately. I mostly used indeed as a resource and followed a new grad RN page on Facebook and applied to positions people would post. ⠀

👏🏻 Make sure you read the necessary requirements and have what the job position is looking for. So if they ask you for certain certifications like BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS, etc, it would be in your best interest to obtain the necessary requirements. ⠀

👩🏻‍🎓 You can still apply for positions without your RN license yet. And when you move forward in the hiring process, just let the recruiter know your timeline of when you’ll obtain it. ⠀

➡️ KEYWORDS is so important!! And if you want to get past the computer system to an actual recruiter and land more interviews, check out my YouTube video on “resume tips” and things you NEED to put on your resume. Trust me, you will start getting more call backs!!!
