📖 The book covers some basic terminology, what acronyms stand for, common diagnosis, medications, and what to focus on during your head to toe assessments. The purpose of this book is to make NICU easier to understand for someone who is new to NICU or has no idea what the NICU is about. ⠀

🩺 I wanted cover what I feel are some of the basics to know if you are a brand new NICU nurse, doing clinicals or preceptorship in the NICU, or interested in working in the NICU. This book will NOT cover everything you see in the NICU. You will learn more along the way! But hopefully this can be a helpful guide and study tool you can use during your journey to NICU nursing. ⠀
