📝 How To Stand Out On A Resume 🖊 ⠀⠀

➡️ There are all sorts of professional templates out there. Choose one that is visually appealing but also keeps your information organized. ⠀

➡️ Myth debunked: “resumes must be black and white and avoid color.” Nowadays, you want to stand out and capture your reader! Colors is fine as long is it isn’t bright and overwhelming. Keep it neutral. ⠀

➡️ Avoid overuse of “filler words” to fill in empty spaces. ⠀

➡️ Keep it simple and basic. Limit to a page. If you have a page with tons of information, it’s going to overwhelm your reader. Remember: it takes about 10 seconds for a recruiter to read a resume!! Keep it minimal and just cover key information. ⠀

➡️ In nursing resumes, put your most recent experience at the top and go in descending order. As a new grad, list your clinical rotations.⠀

➡️ Use bullet points to list out information. Easier to read and capture your audience.⠀

😊 I have a resume tips video on my channel on how to use keywords to get more call backs from recruiters! Make sure to check it out! ⠀
