📒 How to Prep For Nursing in High School 📒

📝 Take sciences courses to see if science/healthcare is something you’re interested in. You can take anatomy and physiology at a local community college and it’s also a prerequisite for nursing! ⠀

✋🏻 Volunteer! I discovered my passion for nursing when I was volunteering and working with the community. It doesn’t have to be healthcare related! ⠀

👩🏻‍⚕️Shadow a nurse. Look for opportunities where you can follow a nurse for a day and see what it is like. ⠀

📓Depending on the nursing school you are interested in applying to, they may have requirements in order to get in. I know a very common one is the TEAS or HESI test or some sort of entry level test to get into the program. Do your research in advance and prep for that.
